Who We Are

ACRRO 

Afghanistan Community Relief and Rehabilitation Organization (ACRRO) is an Afghan nongovernmental, non-political and non-profit humanitarian organization founded in 2022 register with the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk and underserved people throughout the country. 

ACRRO responds to the needs of disadvantaged and marginalized rural and urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scarce resources in a well, efficient, transparent and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion. 

ACRRO has built a core team of committed Executive Committee members and staff members who collectively have extensive experience in rural and social development. Most of the founding staff worked voluntarily or in a semi-voluntary capacity for the first year. Their common commitment was to create a local organization that would provide the information, linkages, visits, surveys, training and technical and morale support requested by the people and their local NGOs

Everything we do ultimately has a single purpose: Empowerment of the less fortunate, especially the most marginalized and vulnerable. We work with underserved people, and communities to ensure that they enjoy well-being, empowered, dignified, and prosperous existence. 

Mission 

ACRRO endeavors to capacity development, education, advocacy work and deliver effective humanitarian relief services to Afghan people. Contributing to a sustainable development, just society, and developed infrastructure, where all men, women, and all marginalized groups pursue their goals and affect their lives positively by energetic participation, and awareness campaigns that helps change attitudes and mindsets.
